National Park Stop #6: Yosemite NP Day 4

Today was our last day to visit Yosemite NP, or any national park for that matter, most likely for the rest of the year. We are grateful for the time we spent visiting each park and hope to come back someday.

Our morning started with breakfast tacos!

Yummmm!

And fresh dairy farm milk.

After cleaning out the car, we decided to visit this restaurant for the second time on this trip, Charlie's Street Dinner House. It was just as delicious as our first visit there on Friday night!

After lunch we headed back into the park.

It's crazy what we'll do to get the GoPro shots we want!

Entering the park one last time. :(

We saw this adorable vintage travel trailer!

And these cute little huts. If you're ever thinking of planning a trip to Yosemite, check out these huts in Half Dome Village. They were awesome!

One of Bry's biggest bucketlist items EVER - hiking part of the John Muir trail. John Muir is his adventure idol, so as you can tell, he was pretty excited!

View from the bridge near the trail.

Hey, handsome.

We setup our hammocks near the river to relax for a little bit. The sound of the river was so powerful, yet calming.

This tree was split five ways!

Kissie kissie.

One last stroll through these woods.

We had a few hours to kill after hammocking and hiking before we needed to head to the Tunnel View to watch the sunset. We setup our chairs and cooler right next to the car and hung out for a few hours. This place is even beautiful in the parking lot!

Tunnel View - El Capitan on the left, Half Dome hiding behind Bry's head, and Bridal Veil waterfall on the right.

Customary tourist photo.

We made ourselves comfy and started recording a time lapse of the sunset on the GoPro. We recorded for about two hours. Can't wait to see how it runs out when we start editing all of the footage we've taken!

iPhone shot of the setup. This is one of the main tourist spots at Yosemite as you can see most of the features from here.

One last shot of the mountains on our way out of the park as the sun was setting. Goodbye, Yosemite. Till next time.
