National Park Stop #2: Zion NP Day 2

Good morning, Utah! We have a fabulous day ahead of us!

This view is facing the restrooms. Ridiculous.

Breakfast in bed. Thanks, babe.

On the shuttle to get to The Narrows.

We look so happy because we don't even know what's about to happen in our lives.

See how we're like, This is gonna be awesome. We're so young and carefree and not old AT ALL. Our knees are like spring chickens.

To get to the famous Narrows, you have to take the shuttle to the last stop (Temple of Sinawava), hike a mile on the trail, and then hike upstream in the river for HOURS. Oh, and then you have to hike back down stream and hike a mile back to the shuttle. It sounds impossible, but we did it!

We made it to the river!

Taking a short snack break.

This. For seven hours. It was equal parts amazing views and super hardcore core and leg work.

150 foot waterfall!

One of my favorite photos of him. Ever!

So many amazing places to take photos in the narrows!

As we neared the end of our hike, Bry said we needed to make a cairn (a stone pile.) Apparently, people make these to represent the completion of a hard journey.

We made it! All I wanted to do was cry! Remember the spring chicken, super young knees? Well, that must've been some other couple cause we were sore and exhausted after this hike!

Walking back towards the shuttle. On our way to get Mexican food!

Bry bought this t-shirt tonight called "van life." It's perfect!

We're off to California in the morning to Yosemite National Park! Can. Not. Wait!!!
